The Second Bill of Rights
Controversial legal historian Samuel Moyn has just posted a new treatment of Franklin Roosevelt’s Second Bill of Rights. As the abstract indicates, Moyn not only revisits the accepted account of Roosevelt’s articulation of these rights, but also directly takes on his Harvard Law School colleague Cass Sunstein’s well-known work on this issue. The abstract of Moyn’s new work, which will surely provoke debate, is available here.
